If you look really closely at the angels in the previous page you can see a tiny green halo on one of them.
Yeah, it looks like he’s hanging back though. Maybe Rex will run off and the others will go after him and then the healer can move in.
That could be his nefarious plan! To be fair it was fairly short notice.

And this is where I finished my archive binge – 135 comics in one sitting. It’s been quite a ride, and it feels like it’s only just got started. I’m glad I managed to avoid the spoiler when I saw the front page of this site.

Whatever you do avoid looking at Gitte’s furaffinity gallery! Spoilers galore but I like them.
Maybe he’s just doing this to make HIM look bad and spare her soul? To make it look like it was all his doing and she was just led into this unknowingly?
