I already feel sorry for this kid :/

Ooh, gorgeous colouring on this page. Loving the red lighting. I just got into this comic over the weekend, and I have to say I’m hooked!
A few questions on this page.
1. Is it just me, or is it fair to say that Virtus looks a little uncomfortable with the whole sacrifice thing?
2. What’s making the kid cry out in the last two panels? Is he just freaking out, or is something burning/hurting him? Poor thing. :<
Aaand this is a totally random question but,
3. What would you imagine Balthazar's voice to sound like? :P
Thanks alot first of all :)
As to your questions:
1. He does seem to be less comfortable about torturing an innocent kid than Rex is, now doesn’t he.
2. Yes it’s burning him. The patterns on the stone are getting red-hot.
3. I.. have no idea actually. I know how some people have voices thought out for their characters, but I almost never have. I guess it wouldn’t be very deep, though. Maybe sort of hoarse? Eh, I don’t know.
I hear Balhazar’s voice as permanently stuck in exasperated cynic mode
I second that. I really do feel sorry for that kid. :c
And the heat seems to be spreading up the columns. That might not bode well for the nameless goon in panel 5.
And Virtus showing a slight hint of a redemable quality? Huh …
Afterthought: How does Virtus in this comic compare to the ancient Roman Virtus?
Not in any way. His name is pretty ironic, but I guess to other vampires in the sin eating club it makes sense, since Virtus is obviously a leading figure of some sort.
Sorry for reposting my question from the last page, but I’d really like to know. :)
“So, I think the sin they’re going to summon is “wrath”, am i right?
The statue on the pillar looks like it, and there were a couple other appearances, including the banner on top of the page…”
Patience, man, patience! Let the story unfold and see for yourself. Until then, just sit back and enjoy the artwork here.
Jup, can’t tell you everything.
Aww, disappointing. :P
Congratulations on the nomination for Komiks.dk! :D
I hope you guys have seen it already. ;)
Thank you, we have! Got an invitation email yesterday, so super awsome :D

Don’t die, I like you too much for you to die!
Are you talking about Virtus or the vampire guy?
Because Virtus isn’t the one going to die. :?
